Protecting women and children from harm
CHSS works to create safe spaces and empower communities to prevent gender-based violence and protect women and children from harm.
Gender-based violence and child protection are among the areas in which CHSS has implemented and supported programs, with particular attention to women, children, young people, and other populations experiencing barriers to essential services and opportunities.
CHSS adopts a community-centered and locally led approach, working with communities to identify their priorities, strengthen local capacity, promote inclusion, and develop sustainable solutions.
