Health is one of CHSS’s thematic programme areas, spanning community health systems strengthening, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis programming, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).
Overview
Improving well-being for vulnerable and underserved populations
CHSS is committed to improving the well-being and opportunities of vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly women, children, young people, and marginalized communities.
CHSS brings together public health and development professionals — including medical doctors, researchers, laboratory scientists, pharmacists, nurses, and community health workers — whose multidisciplinary expertise supports evidence-based interventions across different states and communities in Nigeria.
CHSS adopts a community-centered and locally led approach, working with communities to identify their priorities, strengthen local capacity, promote inclusion, and develop sustainable solutions.
