Thematic programme area 02

Education

Education is one of CHSS’s thematic programme areas, covering education and skills development and early childhood care and development.

Education, early childhood development and skills

CHSS has implemented and supported programs in education, early childhood development, and technical and vocational skills development.

A significant milestone in the organization’s development has been its involvement in the IDEAS-TVET/Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program, implemented with support from the Federal Ministry of Education and the World Bank, through which CHSS has contributed to skills development and improved capacity for early childhood care and education.

CHSS adopts a community-centered and locally led approach, working with communities to identify their priorities, strengthen local capacity, promote inclusion, and develop sustainable solutions.
